Cave Open Mic

Cave Open Mic

Overview

Join us for an evening of poetry, music and storytelling at Cave Open Mic!

Welcome to Cave Open Mic!

Join us on Saturday 16th May with a host of talented poets, singers, comedians and YOU!

We can't wait to see what you bring to the space. Whether you're a a seasoned artist or first timer, you're welcome to take the mic and share your talents with our supportive audience, or come through just to listen. With Eid around the corner, you are invited to bring some celebration to your set!

Our new Rumi's Cave building is now open and cosier than ever! We are so excited to show what we've been working on and share this new space with you.

HEADLINER

This month we'll be joined by Alessandro Babalola! Alessandro is an Olivier Award winning actor, writer, director and dramaturg. His storytelling is electric and sure to take you on a journey.

As always, half our proceeds go towards Rumi's Cave & Soup Kitchen projects, where creativity and community go hand in hand. Doors and open mic sign up at 18:00 for a 18:30 start.

Please note, this event will take place at Rumi's Cave new building (122-124 Craven Park Road, NW10 8QD), next door to Rumi's Kitchen.

It's a busy day out in London with a Nakba Day march, far-right rally and FA Cup final, so please check your route and travel with friends where possible.

See you there inshaAllah!
