You asked for photography workshops and its time to deliver! 
Photography is key to selling online its the way you grab a customer initially and then what helps them to decide yep this is the product for me! It is probably the single most important part of your etsy listing. But its also something that you can do for yourself with relative ease, despite how monumental it seems initially. With this in mind we have planned a program of talks, demos, workshops and collaboration so that no matter how competent (or not) you already are you will learn something. We will be covering using DSLR cameras on manual mode to using your phone and the range of options in the middle. 
The day will start with a small class on the basics of photography, after which we then split up into smaller groups to focus on what interests you. There will be a station on how to take a good phone camera photo, how to take small items such as jewellery and a bigger set up for bigger products, and if we have enough interest we can get a model in for the day too. 
The workshops will be run collaboratively by CAVETSY team members

You will be taking photos so please bring your own camera! We ask that everyone brings at least one product they would like to photograph, and any props they would like to use.It would also be great if you could bring a print of your current product shots and a print of a product photo you really like the style of. A laptop to view photos on would be useful but is not required, there is 4g but not wifi in the hall but we may have time for some post production work and or it is useful to see images on the bigger screen. If you have photography set ups/lights/lightboxes you already use please bring them too, there is on street parking outside the hall and we have quite a big space. 
This is a paid for event to cover room rental, any additional money will be used for future CAVETSY events.
