CBF x WEST - UWE Society - Hackathon

Coding Black Females is excited to partner with Women in Engineering Science and Technology(WEST) UWE Society for a hands‑on hackathon.

Key Outcomes for Participants

• Experience working in a real hackathon environment
• Learn from and collaborate with CBF mentors and other students from different disciplines
• Build confidence in coding, rapid prototyping, and problem‑solving
• Strengthen teamwork and communication across disciplines
• Develop a project you can showcase or continue building
• Connect with a supportive community of innovators
• Receive a certificate recognising your participation and contribution

What Attendees Should Bring

• A laptop (fully charged)
• Chargers or any devices you prefer to work with
• Your creativity, teamwork, and willingness to learn
• No prior coding experience required – all disciplines are welcome
