Census 2021 - Virtual Support Session
Event Information
About this event
Census 2021
This is a virtual event.
A virtual workshop where we will talk you through the online and paper census form, and answer any questions you may have.
The census is carried out every 10 years and is a survey of all the households in England and Wales. Information from the census helps to inform policy making, plan public services, and inform where billions of pounds are spent, for instance on roads, schools and hospitals. Every household in Essex will be sent a letter at the beginning of March letting them know how they can take part.
This virtual workshop will talk you through both the online and paper versions of the census form, guide you on how to complete them, and answer any questions you may have. There will be the opportunity for you to have one-to-one support, in a virtual space, or to ask any confidential questions.
This is a virtual event. Please register for your free place and we will send you the log-in details 24 hours before the event.
For more information on the census please visit www.census.gov.uk or call 0800 141 2021.
