Organized by

Hi and welcome to Hasu Innate Wellbeing, where wellbeing comes from within.

I am Stef an IMTA accredited Zen Mindfulness and Meditation teacher, a Qi-Gong practitioner and an innate wellbeing coach. I have trained in the UK with Zen Master Daizan Skinner, the first Englishman to go to Japan and gain permission to teach in both lineage of Zen and I am part of the Zenways community of teachers.

It is my belief that true wellbeing comes from within and it is therefore accessible to anyone regardless their circumstances.

I view wellbeing as the ability to meet our daily lives from a resourced place, in alignment with our authentic self. It is not just about being physically healthy but also about having a mindset that enables us to move through life’s difficulties with grace, humour and the quiet courage it takes to begin again not once but as many times as necessary. Just like the lotus flower (Hasu, 蓮 or はす in Japanese) that raises unstained from the mud at the beginning of each day.

I call it ‘Find your Zen’. This journey is accessible to anyone, all it takes is curiosity, an open mind and ultimately practice.

Whether you are feeling overwhelmed by physical illness or difficult emotions, experiencing mental overload, stress or burn out, navigating significant changes in your life, feeling constantly anxious or worried, lacking sense of purpose and joy or lost your mojo in your profession or sport, you can benefit from this work.

The benefits of meditation and mindfulness are backed up by over 40 yrs of scientific research and with practice anyone can enjoy those. Here are some:

Deeper sleep, Reduction of stress and Burnout, Alleviation of anxiety and depression, Less mental rumination and mind chatter, Improved management of chronic pain, Better emotional regulation and resilience, Stronger immune system, Lower blood pressure, Sharper cognitive functions (Concentration, memory, focus and clarity), Reverse ageing

WARNING: The Hasu Innate Wellbeing programmes do not promise miracles, quick fixes or blissful escapism, rather the simple reassurance that change is always possible for everyone, commensurate to their personal commitment to practice. Anyone who is involved in sport, music or many other disciplines knows that practice makes perfect, commitment is key and that the journey is rarely always plain sailing. With this is mind, you have all you need for success.

Enjoy the journey
