Join us at Hartlepool Headland, to look for dolphins, porpoises, and other marine mammals.

Join us to look for cetaceans such as dolphins and harbour porpoises, and learn about the marine mammals that can be seen locally from our shores! 

Help us to improve the conservation and protection of whales, dolphins and porpoises, by taking part in this guided Cetacean Watch survey to monitor and record this important group of marine mammals.

We will have binoculars available for you to borrow, but please do bring your own if you have some.

Please wear warm, weather suitable clothing and outdoor footwear, hat and gloves.

Booking is essential. If rain or strong winds are forecast, this event will be cancelled in advance.

Suitable for 16+, anyone aged under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

Meet at 10am by the Sebastopol Cannon on Hartlepool headland, Moor Terrace, Hartlepool TS24 0PS. W3W: ///tribe.birds.makes

There is free street parking, and public toilets facilities are available nearby.
