Chakula Presents: Roots &amp; RhythmIn partnership with Chocolate Kizomba, we will be facilitating a dance class and a learning circle that delves into the history and culture of Kizomba and Zouk music. Whether you are a passionate dancer, a music enthusiast, or simply someone who appreciates trying something new, expect to experience live music, dancing and enjoyment during this Pride season at the Africa Centre.This is a free event!This space is primarily for Black and African LGBTQI+ people. Please be mindful when booking your ticket. --About ChakulaThe Chakula programme is a monthly series of events, workshops and dialogues geared towards supporting and empowering Black and African LGBTQ+ communities.About Chocolate KizombaChocolate Kizomba promotes culture, community and create a safe place for those who had been captivated by the beautiful sounds of Kizomba and wanted to learn how to dance.About the MusiciansDhezy Nakeni (Angolan Musician) is the Lead of Kazukuta Band. He plays the keys and DikanzaDjalma (Angolan Musician) is a vibrant and soulful singer &amp; guitar player.Marshall Sheriff (Angolan Musician) plays the Bass guitar is a Member of Afra Sound Star -one of the contributors of the Kizomba music genre.--This event is also supported by the Southwark Pride Fund.
