Challenges Drive Change:Transformative Innovations in Decarbonising Public Sector Fleet Vehicles

In the face of the pressing climate change emergency, innovation stands as our most powerful ally in steering the Cardiff Capital Region towards a greener, more sustainable future.

Since autumn 2021, the CCR Challenge Fund has spearheaded efforts, investing in four challenges aimed at leveraging innovation to propel us towards zero emission targets and the decarbonisation of public sector vehicle fleets.

This event will explore the notable progress of the four challenges (led by 3 local councils and Welsh Automotive Forum), giving you firsthand insights into the lessons learned and the transformative processes undertaken to address each challenge. Moreover, you will have the opportunity to engage with innovators, and understand how they co-produced bespoke solutions to meet the immediate and future needs of public sector fleet vehicles.

Location:

Kindly hosted by CCR Energy at the ACE Centre, Aberthaw Power Station.

Heriau sy’n sbarduno newid: Arloesi trawsnewidiol wrth ddatgarboneiddio cerbydau fflyd y sector cyhoeddus

Yn wyneb yr argyfwng newid hinsawdd, arloesedd yw ein harf fwyaf pwerus wrth i ni geisio llywio'r rhanbarth tuag at ddyfodol gwyrddach sy’n fwy cynaliadwy.

Ers hydref 2021, mae Cronfa Her Prifddinas-Ranbarth Caerdydd wedi arwain y ffordd, gan fuddsoddi mewn pedair her gyda'r nod o arloesi i'n helpu i gyrraedd targedau allyriadau sero a datgarboneiddio fflydoedd cerbydau'r sector cyhoeddus.

Bydd y digwyddiad hwn yn trin a thrafod y cynnydd nodedig a fu yn y pedair her, gan roi cipolwg uniongyrchol i chi ar y gwersi a ddysgwyd a'r prosesau trawsnewidiol rydym wedi eu rhoi ar waith i fynd i'r afael â phob her. Ar ben hynny, cewch gyfle i ymgysylltu â’r rhai sy’n cynnig atebion, a deall sut roeddent wedi cydweithio â pherchnogion yr heriau i ddylunio atebion pwrpasol oedd wedi’u teilwra i ddiwallu anghenion perchnogion yr heriau.
