Tough conversations at work are unavoidable and we all know that avoiding them just makes things worse.

Whether it’s giving feedback, addressing conflict, or setting boundaries, it’s not always easy to find the right words, or the right way to say them.

In this FREE 60-minute taster session, you’ll experience how Akoranga Learning uses professional actors and expert coaching to help you practise the kinds of real, messy, human conversations that come with leadership.

No roleplay, just practical tools and live interaction to help you build confidence where it counts.

Who is this taster workshop for?

This session is ideal for anyone in (or stepping into) a leadership role (especially those in technical or specialist fields) who wants to get better at handling tricky conversations at work.

What happens during the workshop?

You’ll experience a short, interactive session where we explore real workplace scenarios. We use professional actors to bring these situations to life, giving you the chance to observe, reflect, and even step in if you’d like.

Wait—do I have to act?!

No! You won’t be asked to perform or pretend to be someone else. Our actors take care of that part. You can take part in the conversation if you want to, but observing and reflecting is just as valuable.

Why use actors?

Actors allow us to simulate real, emotional conversations in a safe space. It’s as close to the real thing as you can get without the consequences. You’ll get live feedback and see what works (and what doesn’t) in real time.

How long is the session?

The taster workshop lasts 60 minutes. It’s short, sharp, and full of practical insights you can take straight back to your team.

Is it really free?

Yes. No strings, no sales pitch, just a chance to experience our approach and see how it could support you or your team.

Do I need to prepare anything?

Nothing at all! Just bring an open mind and a willingness to reflect on your own communication style.
