National Records of Scotland(NRS) is a non-ministerial department of the Scottish Government. Our purpose is to collect, preserve and produce information about Scotland's people and history and make it available to inform current and future generations.

A number of stalls will be set up, demonstrating data published by different parts of the government in Scotland and some other organisations. There will be an opportunity to see what is available, ask questions, and discuss ideas or problems you are having. </DIV>

What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?
No parking is available, but the event will be held at New Register House, which is just off the east end of Princes Street (round the corner from the Apple Store), so there are excellent public transport links by bus, tram or train. The event location is just two minutes from Edinburgh Waverley Station.
