<P>A celebration of the stories shared through <A HREF="http://www.palm.community" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">The Palm 250 project</A>.<BR></P>
<P>The Project aims to share 250 unique, authentic stories of personal development and human growth. This is done through The Palm  Podcast and written entries, purposed to form a compendium of wisdom, insight and humanity of any area of personal development. We are often fixated on the traditional success stories which means the stories closer to home are left on the shelf. I believe that we all have a story capable of shedding light for somebody else along this journey called life, with no peak to big and trough too low to help others.</P>
<P>A non-networking event hosted by Just Jaz where we will connect offline and continue the conversation, share top tips, techniques and of course, more stories!</P>

Josh quit a lucrative full-time career in IT to branch out and rediscover his creative side in 2018. For a long time, he'd known that he would return to creating, but he'd lost touch with that side of himself. To this end, he created 10 X MORE, a video content channel that focus on activating one's potential and documenting the idea that following your passion is part of the natural human condition.</SPAN></P>

After studying law in Ireland, Siobhán found herself overwhelmed and overworked on an intense construction project in London, realising she had somehow forgotten to include happiness in her own definition of success. She gradually left her safe, secure, corporate job in order to follow her passion for helping women to be happier at work, and published her first book, Finding My Way, in February 2018, sharing her own journey to finding herself. Through ToGetHer Further, Siobhán empowers & supports women at all stages of their career journeys, facilitating a thriving online community, running regular events & workshops in London, and delivering a signature coaching programme, enabling women to find or create work that truly fulfils them.</SPAN></P>

<P><SPAN>Akwasi is a Creative at Wieden + Kennedy, from Lewisham, South London. He started out with work placements that took him from editorial to broadcasting; gaining experience at both Channel 4 and the BBC. He went on to study Editing & Post-Production at Ravensbourne University whilst he maintained freelance work with companies such as The Mill & Absolute Post throughout his studies. After graduating Akwasi worked at a number of agencies including Engine & R/GA, eventually landing at W+K. His work has seen him create work for brands such as Nike, Google, Sainsbury’s & Warner Brothers and has even helped projects win awards from the likes of D&AD and Creative Review.</SPAN></P>

<P><SPAN>As he approached his 33rd birthday, Tal’s life couldn’t have been better: he had a great job at a great company, he got to travel the world and purchase most of the unnecessary things he found on the internet. But one thing had started to bother him: The better his materialistic life became, the less excited he became about living it. To wake up from his existential slumber, Tal created “Hackmethon”, a Hackathon of the self, if you will, where family and friends gathered to help him re-launch his life. A year later, Tal’s life has transformed: he left his job with LinkedIn, relocated back to Tel Aviv and joined Jolt, an EdTech startup whose purpose is to make learning a lifelong habit, helping people like him relaunch their own lives and careers.</SPAN></P>

<P><SPAN>Cephas Williams is the Founder of Drummer Boy Studios and 56 Black Men, he previously studied Architecture and has been doing business for around 10 years. For 56 Black Men, Cephas started a visual campaign documenting 56 black men through a series of portrait pictures ‘Head Shots’ of Black Men in hoodies, challenging the general negative images we see of black men in the media. Cephas believes everyone should have a fair chance to change their narrative and so for Drummer Boy Studios in 2017, Cephas set out to merge his passion for architecture and his passion for the community in a bid to create physical spaces that cater to those who often suffer the brunt of gentrification.</SPAN></P>
