Post-show discussion on a shared week of work around Changing Your Process, chaired and hosted by Knaïve Theatre presents: A Digital Lyceum

<a href="https://www.digital-lyceum.com" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Knaïve Theatre presents: A Digital Lyceum</a> are hosting the penultimate post-show discussion of their 8 week inaugural season at the venue. This time inspired by four extraordinary pieces which have been made during a locked-down arts sector, all available to see <a href="http://www.digital-lyceum.com/theatre" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">here</a>, 29th Nov-5th December. Featuring new work from <a href="http://www.extraordinarybodies.org.uk" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Extraordinary Bodies</a>, <a href="http://www.voicingscollective.co.uk" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Voicings Collective</a>, <a href="https://www.antropositivo.com.br" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Antro Positivo</a> and <a href="https://www.henrymcgrath.co.uk" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Henry McGrath</a>. Their changed processes to meet the demands of post-COVID creativity are the topic of discussion for you as audiences or fellow artists to join in with. This discussion will be BSL interpreted and captioned. Details of each show involved are below.There is no knowing exactly what will come up in this post-show discussion but we anticipate, after facilitating well over 150 post-show discussions across the world and on many topics, it&#x27;ll be stimulating, supportive and challenging in equal measures.The post-show discussion will take place on Zoom. The shows are free to access in the Theatre 29th Nov-5th December but to support the artists&#x27; work we encourage donations to be made through <a href="https://www.digital-lyceum.com/bar" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">the bar.</a> All donations split between our artists and Knaïve Theatre presents: A Digital Lyceum in the artists’ favour. What Do You See In Me? by <a href="http://www.extraordinarybodies.org.uk" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Extraordinary Bodies</a>Meet Kelly Boy and the community he lives with. There’s Evie Smith, she works for the government, Peggy who is carrying a precious bundle and her partner Hamid, he was big in Germany once. Ergo, living alone, and Dan who admires him from next door. Nandy, whose home was stormed one night. Lucia, who dreams of dancing with her partner again and Annie, who wants to change the world, but can she in her new job?They live as one community, each alone.In this story, told through physicality, dance and music, join a moment in time and delve into the lives of this community as they ask: What Do You See In Me?What Do You See In Me? was filmed in artists’ homes during Lock- down in March and April 2020.It features an original score by Ted Barnes, was written by Hattie Naylor and created by Extraordinary Bodies. What Do You See In Me is supported by Arts Council England.Extraordinary Bodies is the strong and unlikely partnership between leading circus production company Cirque Bijou and award - winning arts and diversity practitioners Diverse City. The company launched in 2013, after having creatively collaborated for the first time on the opening the London 2012 Olympics Sailing events with Breathe. Extraordinary Bodies champions equal representation of D/deaf, disabled and non-disabled artists working together - on stage, off stage and in the audience.

Walk Out of Yourself by <a href="http://www.voicingscollective.co.uk" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Voicings Collective</a>When all you can do is walk...In the height of lockdown, Voicings Collective used their interdisciplinary devising process tocapture the thoughts of their artists based across England: from urban Manchester and seaside Brighton, to rural Suffolk. Part-diary, part-drama, Walk Out of Yourself features elements of verbatim technique collected on daily walks as we coexist alongside the anxiety, boredom, loneliness and joy of isolation. The piece captures our response to those first few weeks of quarantine. It delves into the rituals and routine of pacing and retracing our steps and finding room to breathe.

24POR9 by <a href="https://www.antropositivo.com.br" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Antro Positivo</a>24POR9 is a video-performance, built collectively and in real time, with 24 scenes and 9 artists, conceived by Ruy Filho and Pat Cividanes, by Antro Positivo art platform. The experiment shows, through the vision of photographers, multimedia artists, cinematographers, performers and filmmakers, the unprecedented moment in which we live inside our homes and the relationships of affection and dialogue with objects and environments. The video results in a mesh of images generated by different looks, sometimes in tunes, sometimes multiple, through which the narrative subjectivity appears in the percep- tion of each observer, in the poetic relationship with the whole.

Air by <a href="https://www.henrymcgrath.co.uk" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Henry McGrath</a>Air is about isolation and the questions that emerge in this new time. Filmed a week after the first lockdown was announced in the UK, Air is a dramatic, expressive, and surreal encounter with the reality of a fast-changing world where lives that we have taken for granted now occupy an in-between ghost-like space.But, as systems collapse, is there a chance for new breath.Henry McGrath is a physical theatre performer, director and filmmaker. Air was an effort to respond immediately to the escalating situation back in March, and to explore the relationship and aesthetic transitioning from a collaborative live practice to a solitary pre-recorded medium.
