On Saturday 25th of June 2016 we will be holding our world record attempt at the longest CPR relay, this will involve training 1050 people in CPR.
Start time is 07:00 and this is for training only, as we will need a pool of people ready to go. The first record breaking compressions will start at 08:00, you will need to allow approximately 1 hour of your time, but it will be well worth it as, you will be trained in CPR and will be able to say you are part of a world record.
This event will finish at approximately 20:00 hrs hopefully with the record in our hands.
Why 
It’s a good question but thankfully an easy one to answer.
Everyday people die because the people around them didn’t know CPR, and we will be going some way to ensure that this doesn’t happen as much.
There is also the charity side of things, we are hoping to raise £20'000, and this money will be split between two charities.
The fire fighters Charity, and Mind. 
The Firefighters charity is as you may have guessed our own charity, so it’s important to us, and also to you, as it helps to keep Firefighters on the front line, serving you and helping you in your time of need.
Mind, this one is personal to us as well, depression in the emergency services is high, recently one of the Firefighters at Guildford fire station, lost his battle with depression, and we hope that the money raised will assist others in the future.
Where is Guildford fire station, its on Ladymead, GU11DL.
will there be parking, well not at the station but you will be able to park for free at the Allianz building just across the road.

Age, we suggest that no one under 14 takes part as we cant risk people backing out, as that will be the end of the attempt.
Who can take part, anyone can take part, you can book as individuals or as groups (we like groups).
What will you have to do.
on arrival you will be asked to sign in, from there you will be trained in the art of CPR, and be issued with a wrist band, you will then queue up to take part in the record attempt. this will involve you performing 60 chest compressions, and as soon as that’s done the next person will take over from you, the change over is very important as there cant’ be any more than a 5 second gap between people.
From there you will be asked to provide your name, address, contact number, and wrist band number (job Done)
