Beginner Friendly Hand Sewing Garment Repair and Alterations Workshop

In this class, you will learn how to darn holes in clothes loved by moths, sew a seam that has come undone, or patch a pocket that has become overused just enough, even how to shorten a hem. All done by hand as visible repairs.Bring your own garments along to repair in person or give some hand stitching a go on a pre-prepared cloth sample. All equipment is provided. This is a group class though everyone will be working on their own projects.You will be in safe hands learning from Claire, The Ethical Tailor. With over 5 years of teaching sewing skills behind her, and 15 years in garment-making and alterations.

Everyone is welcome, children must be accompanied by an adult.
