Description
This course is designed for those who are preparing for a supervisory or management role within a hospitality business. It will cover all aspects of running a successful kitchen.
- Menu planning and costings
- Margins and GP
- Recording and monitoring systems
- Kitchen planning and maintenance
- People management skills
- HR and rota systems for efficient kitchen management
Duration: 3 days
On the day, please go to the Allen building at Truro College (A003) for 1pm.
Visitor parking is available on site next to both the Allen building and Mylor building.
All courses are delivered and part-funded by the Ofsted-Outstanding Truro and Penwith College, and are part-funded by the European Social Fund.

Hospitality Table Cornwall is an ESF part-funded project delivered by Truro and Penwith College, led solely by like-minded employers from the Cornish hospitality sector.
Our aim is to create initiatives that increase recruitment, raise aspirations for quality careers and develop industry-relevant learning pathways to improve skills, productivity and quality.
All courses are delivered on a fully-funded basis for SME businesses receiving our training in Cornwall and The Isles of Scilly.
