Overview

Join us as we make practical gifts for people currently receiving treatment for cancer, for World Cancer Day.

Join us for a heartwarming afternoon dedicated to creativity, community, and care. We’ll be gathering to make thoughtful gifts for people receiving cancer treatment – beautiful, practical items such as headwraps and heatpacks that bring comfort and a touch of kindness during a challenging time.

This special session is being held to mark World Cancer Day on the 4th of February, a global initiative to raise awareness and show solidarity with those affected by cancer. Together, we’ll stitch hope and compassion into every piece we create.

All materials will be provided, and light refreshments are included in this free session. If you have a sewing machine, please bring it along – the more machines we have, the more we can make together!

Whether you’re an experienced sewer or just starting out, your contribution will make a real difference. Come for the crafting, stay for the conversation, and leave knowing you’ve helped brighten someone’s day.

Let’s come together to honour World Cancer Day and create gifts that show care and solidarity.
