The Lord Mayor of Chester warmly invites you to experience the charm and sophistication of the Regency era as Chester Town Hall transforms itself into Chesterton Abbey a stunning setting for an unforgettable charity event.

Inspired by the beloved Bridgerton and Downton Abbey series’ – with a unique Chester twist – this is your chance to indulge in elegance, entertainment, and giving back to the community.

Highlights of the Day

Regency Activities – From 12:00, explore the historic Chester Town Hall, enjoy traditional games like Quoits, visit the resident Fortune Teller, and watch live artistry unfold.


🍰 Indulgent Afternoon Tea – Served to you at 13:30 in the grand Assembly Hall, the perfect setting for you to indulge whilst enjoying musical accompaniments.


🎶 Live Music – Beautiful Regency-era pieces performed by talented musicians from The Queen’s School, whilst you enjoy your afternoon tea.


💃 Regency Disco with a Twist – From 15:00 to 17:00, hosted by the fabulous Chester’s own Lady Wanda Why, featuring your favourite hits with a Regency flair!


🎟 Raffle – Win fabulous prizes!


🍸 Bar Available – Enjoy non-alcoholic drinks, beer, wine, spirits, and even Regency-inspired cocktails (not included in ticket price)


Dress Code: Smart day wear or Regency attire encouraged (but not mandatory) – with a prize for the best dressed!

Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel your ticket, full refunds are available only up to 14 clear working days before the event.

If the Event Organiser needs to cancel the event, full refunds will be issued.
