Description

Join us for a variety of exciting children’s workshops at the Zeitz MOCAA Centre for Art Education. The workshops will take place over the 2-week Autumn holiday period in March (18-29). Children will be encouraged to explore a range of different wet and dry mediums. These will include painting, drawing, collage, 3-D construction, drawing and print-making. Children will explore the creative possibilities of various materials in a creative, nurturing and child friendly space where they will learn about the museum, selected displayed artworks and the history of the Silo District and Cape Town Harbour.

Children of Guardians who have museum membership can participate in the workshops for free.

For children of non-member guardians, general museum admission of R190 is required.

Register on our website for annual membership which includes a years unlimited access to the museum and other public programmes at R270.

Guardians are requested to drop off their children at the Centre for Arts Education on level minus one, where they will be registered for the workshop. Please do not leave your children unaccompanied in the reception area.

Venue: All workshops will take place on -1 Level in the Centre for Art Education

Workshop for Age 6 – 8 A max of 20 children.

Workshops for Age 9 – 12 A max of 25 children.

All materials are provided. Children must please wear clothes that can get dirty or bring along an apron.
