The Confucius Institute at UWTSD works with schools, businesses and the community to develop a better understanding of Chinese language and culture.  Based at the Chinese Business and Culture Centre on the 5th floor of UWTSD's Business School at the centre of Swansea, we provide schools with free Chinese language and culture resources and Chinese language teaching assistants, as well as  offering one-to-one, group and tailored Chinese language courses for adults. We organise educational and business delegations to China, and host Chinese artists, musicians and well-being practitioners. The Confucius Institute also runs the Chinese school in Swansea for over a 180 Chinese and Welsh children aged 5 to 16, preparing them to take the Chinese Youth Test, HSK (Chinese proficiency test) and Chinese GCSE and IGCSE.
