Chocolate Making - Cocoa Bean to Chocolate Bar

Learn the full magic of working with chocolate from the raw bean itself to making actual chocolate. We’ll share with you the secrets of the chocolate making process, to creating a rich dark chocolate of your very own. Each participant will work with the base chocolate ingredients to make their own signature blended chocolate that they can take home to use in their own chocolate creations.

This workshop is part of our Chocolate Masterclass program, it can be enjoyed on its own or as part of a series of classes. Previous knowledge will not be necessary so it's a perfect introduction to the mechanics of working with chocolate, especially for any for any cake maker that wants to understand more about how chocolate works.

During the workshop you will:

• Learn how to develop flavours and qualities from each stage of the cocoa bean processing
• Learn how to combine ingredients to create desired chocolate recipes
• Make a personalised signature chocolate blend to your own recipe
• Beautifully package up your creations so you can enjoy them or re-use them at home in your own recipes
• Go home with recipes and your newly found chocolate knowledge

What do you take away with you?

Each participant will take home approximately 500g of your own chocolate as well as the recipes and technical worksheets to be able to make your own and perfect your skills at home.

This course is also ideal for chefs and catering students to learn how to work with fine quality chocolate in a range of environments and purposes.Please note that children are most welcome at this workshop, however we do ask that they are accompanied by a full paying adult participant

Chocolate Master Class Program

Our Chocolate Master Class Series is a 10 course program that covers a whole range of techniques to enable any chocolate lover to fully master and understand how to work with our favorite food. This series of classes can be taken on their own as individual classes or can be taken as your own series.

Group Bookings:

This workshop makes a great option for a private chocolate making experience such as Hen Parties, Birthday Parties or other special occasions. Please feel free to get in touch with our team for more information.

Special Dietary Requirements:

It's really important to us that everyone has a wonderful experience chocolate making, which is why we want to enable every chocolate lover to be able to have a go being creative. We are able to offer most chocolate making activities with dairy free and gluten free ingredients as long as we know in advance. If you have an individual with a nut allergy we have to say that the environment can not be guaranteed as nut free, we do however limit the presence of nuts in our workshop as much as possible, we are also able to provide new and sterile equipment for individuals with highly sensitive nut allergies. Please ask individuals or the parent or guardian of an attendee to contact us at least 48 hours ahead of the workshop so we can discuss with them how best to cater for their needs and ensure they can take part fully and enjoy the results of all their hard work.
