Come and Sing Fauré Requiem with Matthew Owens and singers from the Ulster Consort

Come and join us to sing the deeply moving and powerful Requiem by Gabriel Fauré, a most beloved of works for the season of Remembrance. The day will be led by the Ulster Consort’s Music Director, Matthew Owens.

This singing day for adults is open to all, irrespective of experience or skill level. It provides a great opportunity to meet with like-minded people, learn about the voice, have some fun, and to make music together in a relaxed setting.

There will be singers from the Ulster Consort and the Ulster Consort Talent Development Programme ready to lend a hand, and Tristan Russcher will accompany on the organ. At the end of the day there will be an informal concert of the Requiem for family and friends.

Cost: £25, which includes all tuition, music, refreshments, and a soup and sandwich lunch

Family and friends will be able to join us for the informal performance at 4.15pm. Donations to the Ulster Consort Foundation will be gratefully received on the afternoon, at the door.
