Lionel Bart Memorial Masterclass: Chris Bush &amp; DJ Walde

We are delighted to announce the next Lionel Bart Memorial Masterclass, supported by the Lionel Bart Foundation. These masterclasses provide a fantastic opportunity to learn from distinguished industry practitioners. Our next masterclass features Standing At The Sky's Edge writer Chris Bush and Sylvia composer DJ Walde, Chris and DJ will discuss their work and careers, answer your questions and will give constructive feedback on a few members’ songs. This is an exciting opportunity to meet and learn from the creators of two very exciting new British musicals currently running in London. Four writers/writing teams will be invited to present a song for feedback, and we encourage as many members as possible to attend as it will be a hugely valuable learning opportunity. The masterclass is free for MMD and BML members.Standing At The Sky's Edge has just been nominated for 8 Olivier Awards including Best New Musical. The show is currently running at The National Theatre with five star reviews and very high acclaim.
