Join me for one of my SKILLS BASED Masterclass Workshops where I will take you through key skills and techniques to improve your dressmaking know how.

<h3> Who is this class for:</h3><h3>This workshop is for anyone who would like to make Christmas themed products. The choice is yours. There will be a range of decorations and Christmas themed gifts for you to choose to make on the day.  All abilities welcome.</h3><h3>During this workshop you will learn: </h3><p>The skills and techniques you will learn will depend on your skill level and what you would like to make. Some of the skills you may learn include:</p><ul><li>How to thread a sewing machine</li><li>How to wind and install a bobbin</li><li>How to create an seam and turn corners</li><li>How to create an appliqué design with Bondaweb</li><li>How to select stitch types and direct your stitches</li><li>How to slip stitch</li><li></li></ul><p>Materials &amp; Equipment:</p><p>All the resources for this workshop will be provided. </p><p>I will supply a range of Christmas prints and coordinating fabrics and trimmings for you to use for decoration. Threads and Bondaweb and everything you will need to complete your Christmas product will also be available on the day. </p><h3>A limited number of sewing machines are available to borrow, please let me know if you would like to use one on my machines. If you would prefer to get to know your own sewing machine a little better please feel free to bring your own.</h3><h3>Parking available opposite Stanpit Village Hall at Mudeford Social Club.</h3>

<h1>COVID Safety Precautions</h1><p>Updated 9th July 21. You will be updated if any changes become necessary.</p><p>I’m delighted to be able to offer some face-to-face classes again.</p><p>At the time of creating this listing it is difficult to know where we will be with Covid and what safety precautions might be required. I hope none, but, at a very minimum I will be anti- bacing all surfaces and shared equipment and making hand gel available for you to use on entry and during the class.
