Pioneer Educational Trust

Following the success and popularity of our TeachMeets last year, Pioneer Educational Trust is excited to announce a fun and free informal gathering for all teachers of varying experience to share ideas, passions and insights into teaching and learning from their classrooms and real experiences of practice that can make a difference.
Our Christmas-themed TeachMeet is an invaluable CPD and networking opportunity for all teachers within our Trust and neighbouring schools to come together with the aim of building relationships across schools, and strengthening our own individual teaching practices.
Anyone can speak, and speakers are limited to 2, 5 or 7 minute presentations (see The Rules below!) – this is quick-fire CPD! Or you can just come along and listen! If you do want to present, fantastic! Please let Manni Sanghera know what you would like to share and for how long by emailing msanghera@pioneereducationaltrust.org.uk. 
Timings:
4.00pm to 4.30pm - refreshments
4.30pm to 5.30pm - the TeachMeet
5.30pm to 6.00pm - networking
TeachMeets are organised and run by teachers for teachers.
There will be light refreshments provided and goody bags for all who attend!

<H3>Macro-presentations are strictly seven minutes long – three slide presentation allowed</H3>

<H3>Micro-presentations are strictly five minutes long – one slide presentation allowed</H3>

<H3>Nano-presentations are strictly two minutes long – no powerpoint presentation</H3>
</LI>

Be careful if you go over this allotted time - you may have something (soft) thrown at you! 
Your presentations can be accompanied by a resource. This could be a photograph, document, spreadsheet, video on a memory stick...etc. If you plan to use a resource and need some assistance with this, please email Manni: msanghera@pioneereducationaltrust.org.uk at least 24 hours in advance of the TeachMeet. 
If you wish to provide any prompt sheets for participants, these need to be emailed at least 24 hours in advance to msanghera@pioneereducationaltrust.org.uk or brought to the TeachMeet by yourself.
Please make sure that what you’re showing has actually been used in your classroom or a classroom of a colleague.
This event is free of charge.
Drinks and nibbles will be sponsored by Pioneer Educational Trust! 
Attendee etiquette!
Eat and drink during the TeachMeet; food is available all the way through –  we will be offended if you don’t! :) 
Network and collaborate with the presenters - networking time is built into the session at the end.
The presentations from the TeachMeet will be sent within 1 week of the TeachMeet.
Most importantly, this is an informal event, so enjoy yourself!
