CHS x All Terrain 95 : Sunrise hike up Great Gable
Join All Terrain 95, a group of friends with a passion for the outdoors, fashion and photography who have a common goal of battling the stigma around mental health.
Experience this 10.0-km circular trail near Gatesgarth, Cumbria. Generally considered a challenging route that includes steep and rocky inclines that you must be prepared to scramble over as you make your way to the summit of Great Gable. Starting in Seathwaite, the trail heads up into the hills via Taylorgill Force and Styhead Gill, passing Styhead Tarn as you make for the foot of Great Gable. Once at the top there are beautiful views over the surrounding fells. The descent is steep and rough and as you wind down past Windy Gap and beside Aaron Slack. The return path heads past Greenhow Knott and along Grains Gill along a rough and rocky path. Very steep and quite the challenge but the reward of the sunrise views will be worth it
