CIPR Fellows’ Spring Drinks

Founded in 1948, the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) is the professional body for public relations practitioners in the UK. With over 10,000 members involved in all aspects of public relations, it is the largest body of its type in Europe.The CIPR advances professionalism in public relations by making its members accountable to their employers and the public through a code of conduct and searchable public register, setting standards through training, qualifications and the production of best practice and skills guidance, facilitating Continuing Professional Development (CPD), and awarding Chartered Public Relations Practitioner status (Chart.PR).The CIPR was granted its Royal Charter by the Privy Council in February 2005.

The spring Fellows’ drinks event will be held on Thursday, 11 April at The Hat and Tun, London, in its Snug.
Come April, we will be in a position to discuss progress in the CIPR’s work with membership, the new Client Advisory Service and the impact of the Fellows campaign in March, specifically relating to new Fellowship nominations (due by 31 March). Once again, I’d encourage you to consider nominating a peer for their contribution to the CIPR and wider industry.
In addition, we hope to announce the first Masterclass, which will be for Fellows who are considering a Non-Executive Director role, and we will update you on our progress to develop a mentoring initiative, specifically with CIPR Fellows.
To make the event more affordable, we have priced tickets at £15pp and will include an arrival drink and nibbles. There will be a cash bar for any additional drinks.
CIPR President Emma Leech and Fellows’ Forum Chair, Laura Sutherland, will be in attendance.
