Last year <A HREF="http://www.cisco.com/c/en_uk/index.html" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Cisco</A> and <A HREF="http://mspl.co.uk/" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">MSP</A> announced its Joint Venture to create the new <A HREF="https://www.mi-idea.com/" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Mi-IDEA</A> Innovation Centre located at Manchester Science Park - designed to accelerate the growth of the digital sector in the North of England.

What can you expect from the event?
The Head of Innovation for Cisco UK & Ireland, Tom Kneen, will share insights into the current work, developments and opportunities with Cisco and MSP. In addition, the room will be filled with relevant people from Cisco, MSP and partners. Get advice and connections, strengthen your proposition and widen your network.

After the amazing success of its London centre, <A HREF="http://www.idea-london.co.uk/" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">IDEALondon</A>, Cisco has partnered with Manchester Science Partnerships (MSP) to create Mi-IDEA, a post-accelerator designed to foster and nurture digital innovation in the North of England.
With collaboration at its core, Mi-IDEA will be a digital living lab, showcasing the very latest in collaboration technologies alongside the innovations of the companies in residence. It provides an inspiring environment to spark innovation and a place where public, academic and private sectors can immerse themselves in the power of the possible and work together to transform their industries.
*NB we are looking for early-stage businesses and small teams. We would expect 2-4 people, including the founders to be resident in the centre. If you don't yet have a Minimum Viable Product (or aren't very close to launching one) then you're too early for this programme. But if you have received Series A funding, you are probably too advanced for it. This is the last round of applications before the new centre formally opens in June, so if you want to be in the opening cohort, you need to get involved now... Spaces are limited so register now to avoid disappointment.
Please register by April 24th at the very latest.
