CIUCIUNDRA

This multi-screen moving image installation invites viewers inside the mind of CIUCIUNDRA, a narrator haunted by the absence of his twin. In search of meaning, CIUCIUNDRA releases the devil from a grotto and is overtaken by an overwhelming love that distorts his perception of the world. Identities begin to blur - twin, lover, self - while images and voices fracture and repeat. Looping continuously, the installation resists resolution, unfolding as a cycle of longing, devotion, and dissolution: a shifting state in which the desire to become whole never settles.
