Civitas Chambers – Pupillage Open Evening

Civitas Chambers invites you to attend our Pupillage Open Evening on 8 January 2026, designed for prospective applicants.

This event offers aspiring barristers the opportunity to learn more about our work, pupillage at Civitas, and the unique career advantages of training within a chambers dedicated exclusively to civil and public law.

During the evening, attendees will hear from members of chambers about their areas of practice, the advisory and advocacy work we undertake, and what life at Civitas is like. There will also be an opportunity to speak informally with barristers and members of our team, ask questions about our pupillage selection process, and gain practical insight into building a career at the specialist Bar.

Attendees will have the chance to:

• Learn about Civitas’ specialist public and civil law practice

• Meet barristers across a range of seniorities

• Gain insight into pupillage, work expectations, and the support offered to pupils

• Ask questions about the application process and life in chambers
