Clamshell Box Two-Day Workshop

The Cordwainers Company have very kindly funded a programme of bookbinding training, and we have a few spaces available on Wednesday 16th and Thursday 17th.

Leading bookbinders and teachers Dominic Riley and Michael Burke will guide you through the process of making your own clamshell box. You’ll learn the techniques involved in measuring, cutting, and covering to create protective and decorative cover, constructed to hold a book you bring along with you.

These hands-on sessions are offered free of charge, with places capped at 10 people, making this a fantastic opportunity to learn from two highly experienced practitioners in a small group.
