Experience the art of classic car restoration at Brooklands Museum, the birthplace of British motorsport and aviation.

This practical introduction to restoration skills focuses on repairing classic car chassis and bodywork. Under the guidance of our experienced instructors, you’ll gain the confidence to tackle your own restoration projects.

Course Aim:

Learn all the skills required to have the confidence to take on your own classic car body repairs. You’ll learn to fabricate, weld, and finish steel panels - including making a sill section and repairing dents to a professional standard. With a small class size we hope to be able to offer a tailored course led by our experienced team.

Objectives:

📐 Apply correct marking-out techniques from technical drawings
🔥 M.I.G / M.A.G welding
⚡ Setting up and using a spot welder
🔩 Fabricate a sill section
🪛 Metal finishing dents

Location: Brooklands Museum Flight Shed (Surrey) - KT13 0SL

Duration: 3 Days - 09:30am start on the Wednesday

Total cost: £481.98 including booking, admin, equipment, tools
