About this event
During this session, we will be workshopping memorised classical monologues. You can bring a fresh monologue, or you can bring along an old one in need of refreshing. All levels of acting experience are welcome.
The day prior to the session, you will receive an email with the Zoom meeting link. Please join the call at least 5 minutes early with water. If possible, call in from a quiet room with space to stand if needed.
Information on Eleanor: Born and raised in Colorado, I attended the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs for my BA in Visual and Performing Arts. During my time with UCCS, I worked with local theatre company THEATREWORKS as an actor and as an ASM. Shortly after graduating, I moved to the UK to study for my MA in Classical Acting with the wonderful drama school, the London Academy of Music and Performing Arts.
Not long after graduating, the pandemic hit. I spent the first portion of the pandemic directing a recorded Zoom performance of As You Like It with a cast of actors spread across 5 different time zones. Now, almost a year later, I am bringing my skill set and passion for classical text to actors in need of artistic outlet during lockdowns and quarantines.
