Create your own Hand Built Ceramic Lantern based on a home shape or adapt one of our templates into the design you want……with step by step instruction. Light up a one of a kind handcrafted ceramic house night light and watch the lights flicker from the windows or in the garden!
A firm favourite, Artreach Studios' hit lantern workshop attracts a host of beginners & improvers - (some come every year to build their collection!
Perfect to show off to friends and family but most of all a wonderful and focused making activity that you will enjoy!
Making memories
We always believe in the power of the experience.....engaging in creative activities, particularly working with clay, can be absorbing, therapeutic and even give your brain a workout (not essential)...most of all though, it's fun!
Sweet by day, romantic by night, this will make a beautiful gift to yourself or your loved ones, or why not come with a friend, or even better a group! (seperate dates may be available by request (min 12 persons).
Embrace the studio atmosphere for a wonderful ceramic making workshop and discover a new passison or rekindle an old one.
Decorating & Glazing
We'll guide you through a number of decoration techniques on the day, creating pattern and interest on your one-of-a-kind house lantern. We will glaze your lantern in our signature white gloss glaze for you or for those who want full creative control, you can book to come back and hand paint your fired artwork in a variety of colours to suit you (small additional charge applies.)

Suitable for beginners, improvers & advanced.
Collection
All ceramic work will be ready to collect within 10 weeks (providing all is well with our kiln)***
