Merseyway Workshop

Clay sculpting tools aren&#x27;t always necessary, but they can help achieve some really beautiful details.Also, they&#x27;re way too expensive for what they are!So w﻿hy not come along to this workshop and whittle away your morning making your own bespoke tools? W﻿e&#x27;ll be using wooden off-cuts from the workshops, wire, sponges and various other mark making materials. Feel free to bring along your own materials if you&#x27;d like!

Knowledge Required• Beginner . This workshop is for ages 16+ only.Techniques You Will ExploreTool making - experimenting with wood, sponge, wire and plastic.Materials Provided• Included in the course fee you will be allocated 5kg of terracotta, buff or crank clay. You will also have free access to our decorative slips and range of glazes! More clay can be purchased during the sessions.What to bring• Relaxed clothing that you don&#x27;t mind getting a little messy. Bring your own apron if you have one. Transport• We are within a short walk from Stockport train and bus station. Parking is available at the Merseyway Shopping Centre NCP.Refunds and Booking Terms• Workshop and course bookings can be cancelled and refunded up until 7 days before the scheduled start date.
