Clearing Open Day 2018

Clearing Open Day - Saturday 18 August, 12pm to 4pm
On Saturday 18 August, we will be holding a Clearing Open Day for prospective students who have been offered a place through Clearing, and those thinking of applying.
You’ll have the opportunity to ask any questions you have about Birkbeck to members of staff and current students. You’ll also get the chance to look around our campus and facilities.
We will be running talks and tours throughout the afternoon, including general information about Birkbeck. There will also be subject talks delivered by academics from across the university.
Welcome Talks
Start times: 12.15pm 1.15pm and 3.15pm
Our Welcome talk will give you an introduction to Birkbeck, as well as covering fees and funding, student support services and our careers service.
Student Life and Q&A
Start times: 1.15pm and 3.15pm
Hear what it’s like to study in London, and how to make the most of studying in the evening at Birkbeck. 
Subject talks 1 hour
Start time: 2pm only
Academic staff from various departments will be on-hand to talk about their subject area and answer your questions.
Campus and library tours - 1 hour 
Depart every 30 minutes from 1pm onwards from the Malet Street Main Building entrance
Our student ambassadors will show you around our main campus, and you will learn about the local history and beautiful surroundings of Bloomsbury.
