In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TED Talks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized. (Subject to certain rules and regulations.)

Join TEDxLondon’s live recording of its chart-topping podcast, Climate Curious, where we lift the lid on the cost of living crisis, energy and oil with special guest speakers on Monday 5th September, 6.30-9pm at The Conduit, Covent Garden. COST OF LIVING CRISIS: WHAT&#x27;S CLIMATE GOT TO DO WITH IT? Be a part of the special behind-the-scenes Climate Curious experience as one of our limited in-studio audience. Bloopers, retakes, selfies… you’ll see it all! Leave your climate guilt, shame and rage at the door – this is a relaxed evening for people who may not have found their place in the climate conversation, but do actually really care about the world. Less paper straws, more systemic change – we’re all about having your burger and eating it too, whilst getting a clear briefing on key climate topics – in a fun, down-to-earth and non-judgemental way! For this live studio recording, Maryam Pasha and special guest host, Clover Hogan, will be speaking with: Tessa Khan, a climate lawyer and Director of Uplift UK. Tessa is an international climate change and human rights lawyer, campaigner and strategist. She is the Founder and Director of Uplift, prior to which she was a Co-Founder and Co-Director of the Climate Litigation Network. She has spent more than a decade supporting local, regional and international climate movements and has served as an expert advisor to UN human rights bodies and national governments. She is an awardee of the Climate Breakthrough Project, a multi-million dollar award given to extraordinary climate strategists, and was named by TIME magazine in 2019 as one of fifteen women leading the fight against climate change.Mark Campanale, Founder &amp; Executive Chairman, Carbon Tracker. Mark is the founder of the Carbon Tracker Initiative, a non-profit independent financial think tank researching the impact of climate change on financial markets. Carbon Tracker popularised the notion of a carbon bubble, which describes the incompatibility between the continued development of fossil fuel projects and combating climate change. Prior to forming Carbon Tracker, Mark had twenty years experience in sustainable financial markets. Mark is a co-founder of some of the first responsible investment funds and is now on the Advisory Board of GFANZ, the Glasgow Finance Alliance for Net Zero.
