Climate Fresk Workshop

Climate Fresk Workshop

Overview

Understanding Climate Change. Empowering Action.

Join Solihull Council for Climate Fresk, a fun, interactive and highly engaging workshop designed to build a shared understanding of climate change and what we can do about it.

During the session, you’ll explore how human greenhouse gas emissions impact our climate, people and nature. Working collaboratively, you’ll uncover the key drivers, mechanisms and consequences of climate change and step back to see the bigger picture of where we are today and where we could be headed if we act together.

This is a participatory workshop with plenty of opportunity to share ideas, learn from others and contribute your own perspectives. By the end, you’ll have co-created a visual “fresk” a collage of cards, comments and images capturing your collective understanding, along with a shared title that reflects your group’s journey.

You’ll leave the session feeling informed, optimistic and empowered with practical insight into how individuals, organisations, government and big business all have a role to play in reducing emissions and creating a more sustainable future.

All content used in Climate Fresk is grounded in the latest science from the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), ensuring the workshop is based on scientifically agreed facts, not conjecture.

What you’ll gain:

A clear, accessible understanding of climate change and its causes

Insight into the social, environmental and economic impacts

A collaborative, engaging learning experience

Inspiration and confidence to take meaningful action

This event is intended for businesses based at BBP, and other Solihull businesses. If you are interested in workshops for residents, please contact agreenall@solihull.gov.uk

Priority will be given to those businesses in Solihull borough.
