Reboot the Earth is a global coding event that brings together young techies and people with a shared interest in combating climate change under the auspices of the United Nations to create technology solutions that address the current climate crisis. Through a series of hackathons in four continents, young people will be presented with the opportunity to use open data and apply technology to solve the climate crisis, depending on the community needs in a given location.

This hackathon will take place in 4 lab locations (Egypt, Malaysia, Espoo and Guruguan) and New York. Sponsored by SAP and Deloitte, the Reboot the Earth will bring the winners to NY to be awarded by the SG at the Climate Summit in Autumn.
