Is anyone free to attend the Clinical AI & Quantum Hackathon?

Accepted Answer

While the series of regional hackathons have been open to all in the NHS, this is an invite-only final. The winning teams (placed 1st, 2nd or 3rd) from the regional events are invited to participate in the Grand Final and compete for the prize money and recognition.

Question 2

What if I was in a winning team at a regional event but can't attend the Grand Final?

Accepted Answer

Please speak to the other members of your team and let them know. We expect the ideas presented in the Grand Final to be based on the winning ideas from the regional events. So even if you can't make it, we will speak to your fellow team members to ensure your contribution is recognised.

Question 3

Can we continue to work on our ideas on the day?

Accepted Answer

Yes! There will be time allocated for team collaboration and mentoring sessions with some of the best minds in quantum computing and AI, and you will have the opportunity to pitch your solution to a panel of expert judges. The day will end with an award ceremony.
