The annual stunning spectacle of colour and music returns to Clissold Park on Saturday 5th November with the Hackney Fireworks Display.
Kids fun fair rides, street performers, and food and drink stalls are just some of the entertainment set to accompany the 2016 pyromusical which sees fireworks synchronised to music.
This year's theme is 'animals', and residents are encouraged to channel their wild side and dress up as their favorite animals- be it Simba from 'The Lion King', Shere Khan from 'The Jungle Book' or just a cheeky monkey!
Gates open at 5.30pm and the display starts at 7.00pm. The display is 20 minutes and is suitable for all ages. Entertainment will be weather-dependant.
Are there car parking facilities?
No, there are no car parking facilities available for the event. Where possible please walk or use public transport and plan your journey to and from the event in advance.

What time should I arrive at the event?
Gates to the event open at 5.30pm. Please aim to be inside the park by 6.30pm, this will allow time to move into the audience area ready for the start of the display at 7.00pm.
Do i need to buy a ticket for my baby?
If your child is in a pushchair / buggy then you will need to purchase a child ticket. Babes in arms will not require a ticket.
How do I gain access to the event site?
Please refer to your ticket for your allocated point of entry.
On arrival at the gates please have your tickets ready for inspection.
How long does the display last?
The display will start at 7.00pm and lasts for 20 minutes. Please note that due to the animal enclosure within the park, the display is a low noise display with it being choreographed to a musical soundtrack.
Will there be food at the event?
Yes, a number of local restaurants and food vendors will be selling a selection of food from 5.30pm to 8pm.
Will there be any entertainment?
The park will be animated with street based performances and imaginative lighting to allow users to experience the park in a new way. There will also be some kids funfair rides.

Can I bring in my own alcohol?
No, alcohol can not be brought into site. Any alcohol brought onto site will be confiscated by event security.
Alcohol can be purchased and consumed in our bar on site.
Can I bring in my own fireworks?
No, fireworks will not be allowed on site. Any fireworks brought onto site will be confiscated by event security.
Can I bring my dog along?
No, the event is operating a no dog policy. We advise local residents to keep all pets indoors during the display.
Will the fireworks affect the deer?
No. In conjunction with the firework operators, an animal welfare expert has carried out a test fire to ensure the animals’ welfare will not be affected as a result of the event. The display has been designed using fireworks approved during the test fire.
In addition, an animal welfare expert will be onsite during the display to observe the animals and ensure their welfare is not compromised.
Is there a disabled viewing area?
Yes, there is a dedicated viewing area within the ‘no dog’ area of Clissold Park. Please note this area is on grass. Access to this space can not be pre-booked and will be allocated on a first come, first served basic.
I can no longer attend the event, am i able to get a refund?
Unfortunately we are unable to process refunds for this event, however if you wanted to transfer your tickets to another person/s then please email email@example.com.
What happens if the event is cancelled due to adverse weather?
Please note the event will only be cancelled as a result of the weather if it is deemed unsafe to continue.
