This FREE CLOCS webinar is open to all construction clients and their supply chains

Every year over 5,500 pedestrians, pedal cyclists and motor cyclists in Britain are killed or injured in collision with vehicles common in construction. The Construction Minister has backed the collective call by the Presidents of RTPI, CIOB, ICE, APS and Build UK for every construction client, local authority, and principal contractor to adopt and implement national CLOCS Standard. Construction Logistics and Community Safety (www.CLOCS.org.uk) brings together regulators, clients, contractors and fleet operators to take simple collaborative actions that protect the community and business reputation from harm by ensuring the safest vehicle journeys.This webinar has two leading CLOCS Champion organisations setting out the business case and practical issues for implementing and championing CLOCS – with open forum to answer all core questions:University of Warwick – Mark Evans, Health and Safety Manager, has been driving Warwick’s successful implementation of CLOCS since 2018, is working with University of Manchester and others in leading the call for every UK university to adopt CLOCS, and makes clear early adoption proved invaluable preparation to better respond to COVIDWillmott Dixon – Ben Stoodley, Head of Health &amp; Safety (Midlands), and Nick Preedy, Operations Manager, will explain the practical steps to implement CLOCS ensuring everyone understands the simple actions incl. Construction Logistics Plans, supplier selection, last mile routing, Site Access Traffic Marshalls, and critically effective reporting within Willmott Dixon and to clients.
