This series of workshops is designed to help you save money and tread more lightly on the planet at the same time. Some are online, others will be held at Railway Gardens in Splott, Cardiff.

Of the 100 billion garments produced each year, 92 million tonnes end up in landfills. To put things in perspective, this means that the equivalent of a rubbish truck full of clothes ends up on landfill sites every second - but we can do something about this!A clothes swap is a fantastic way to re-home your unwanted clothes and refresh your wardrobe for free. Here's how it works: <ul><li>All clean clothes in good condition are welcome - mens', womens' and childrens' clothes are all fine.</li><li>If you have an item needing a small repair (such as a missing button) feel free to bring it but please pin on a tag or piece of paper explaining what repairs are needed.</li><li>Bring your clothes along on the day between 10:30 - 11am.</li><li>Swapping will begin at 11am and continue until 1pm. Don't forget to bring a bag to take home the clothes you choose!</li></ul>Things on Toast Cafe will be open for hot and cold drinks and food.This is an event by and for the community so no traders please.Registration is not required for this event but please feel free to register if you'd like an email reminder closer to the time, plus any updates.Pssst - interested in pre-loved fashion and slow?
