About this event

Thank you for your interest in attending the Coast-R Annual Forum 2025, taking place at the University of Glasgow on 11–12 September 2025.

This two-day gathering will bring together researchers, practitioners, community partners, and policymakers from across the UK to explore how we can co-create resilient coastal futures.

What to Expect:

Day 1 will centre on thought-provoking workshops, a keynote address, and valuable networking opportunities to connect and share ideas. Day 2 will feature a roundtable discussion on working at interfaces and interactive sessions designed to develop practical skills, inspire fresh perspectives, and strengthen collaborative ways of working.

A full event outline is available here. A detailed schedule, including session sign-ups, will be circulated closer to the event.

Please click 'Get tickets' and complete the form to apply to attend the in-person event. Due to limited capacity, we may not be able to accommodate all applicants. We will use your responses to questions 4 and 5 to help prioritise participation if necessary and will aim to confirm attendance as soon as possible. If you are not selected for in-person attendance, or prefer not to travel, you are welcome to join us via our online-only option.

Want to share your work?

We’re also hosting an informal poster session. If you’d like to participate, please complete this form in addition to this registration.

We look forward to welcoming you in Glasgow!

Organised by

The Coast-R Network is an inclusive and collaborative community of practice working to build knowledge, action and resilience for UK coastal communities and seas.

We are a diverse team, including academics, UK marine, coastal and government agencies, industry partners, local authorities, the voluntary sector and communities most affected by coastal change.

Together, we are working to better understand coastal change and enhance the resilient management of UK coastal communities and seas, and the natural capital that sustains them.
