About this event

  • Event lasts 2 hours

As part of the Beach of Dreams Festival, Nature 4 Health is inviting folk to come enjoy an introduction to coastal foraging on Nairn's beautiful shore.

Meeting outside the leisure centre by the beach in Nairn, we will explore the coastal bounty on offer. From seaweeds, to plants and trees that thrive along the coast and other plants above the tide line, we will have a broad look at some of the things we can gather and use, and best safe practice.

We will finish the session off with a wee fire and cook up some tasty seaweed snacks.

Please dress for all weathers, just in case, and wear sturdy footwear as we will be down on the wet rocks for some of the session.

Tickets are £12 each, £6 for under 16s, and free for 6 and under.

Dogs welcome, if under control.

Please email info@n4h.co.uk if you have any queries.
