Tech for Life is excited to announce our Code Bunnies event this Easter!

When?

Friday 25th March (Good Friday) from 10am to 2pm.

What?

This egg-celent event is perfect for little Code Bunnies who are 5 - 14 yrs. We would ask that bigger bunnies accompany them on the day. Drop in any time between 10am and 2pm.

What to expect?

• Block Parties will be providing awesome entertainment in the form of themed LEGO® games and challenges. Test your skills to see if you can recreate the Easter Bunny, little chicks or try your own creations!

• Maker Space will be hosting egg-painting with a difference with their Egg-bot. Do you have the reflexes of a cat? Test them out and go head to head with your friends with their reaction timer!

• Raspberry Pi's with Minecraft: We will be using Python to design and paint your own Minecraft Egg!

• Kirsty and Mike from Success 4 All will guide you in building your own Lego Robot and show you how to programme it using Scratch!

• The MaKey Makey Station: We will be using Makey Makeys to make a fruit based drum kit!

• Feed the Bunny: Can you catch the carrots in time to feed the bunny?

• Robots Tech-over: The International Mars base has some problems and we need your help to fix them. Send in your robot to get it up and running again.Moon buggy rescue and Rocket launch and are just some of the missions awaiting you. How many can you complete? There’ll even be a chance to go head to head with another robot in the battle arena where you can try to knock off their robo-bunny ears!

• Our Face Painter will have you looking egg-straordinary with chicks, bunnies and lots of other designs for you to choose from!
