CODE CLUB - Scratch Module For 8 - 12 yr old boys and girls
Four Sessions: 9am to 11am daily from Tuesday 20th to Friday 23rd February. FREE
These sessions are for first time Code Club attendees who will learn the Scratch software platform to make animations and games. It is fun and easy to use for young learners.
<A HREF="http://www.the-media-centre.co.uk" TARGET="_blank" TITLE="The Media Centre" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer"> The Media Centre</A> and <A HREF="http://www.elder-studios.co.uk" TARGET="_blank" TITLE="Elder Studios" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Elder Studios</A> have teamed up again to run a special <A HREF="http://www.codeclub.org.uk" TARGET="_blank" TITLE="Code Club" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Code Club</A> over the spring half term. Code Club is for children aged 8 - 12 years who are interested in learning the basics of computer programming through fun and interactive games and projects.
From Tuesday 30th to Friday 23rd February we will provide a hands-on insight into computer coding.
Here's what parents thought of our recent Code Club:
 " The kids have had a great time. It was the first time for my son and he enjoyed it immensely. The level was obviously pitched just right for him. The session was very inclusive and all were involved and contributed. The facilities are great and equipment provided was excellent. The location was central and easy to get in and out of. The fact that the offering was free was also a great bonus."

Code Club is FREE and runs from 9 to 11am each morning. It is suitable for ages 8-12.  All equipment is provided and the sessions take place at The Media Centre, 7 Northumberland Street, Huddersfield, HD1 1RL.
