Code for Sydney - Monthly Hack Day

Darling Square LibraryHaymarket, NSW
Saturday, Feb 21 from 10:15 am to 2:15 pm AEDT
Overview

Join fellow coders in Sydney for a fun, hands-on hack day to build cool projects together!

Join Us at Code for Sydney - Monthly Hack Day!

During our monthly hack day, we'll learn about civic challenges, brainstorm ideas about solutions, and sit down to create together. Whether you're a newbie, a seasoned dev, or something else entirely, this in-person event is the perfect place to meet like-minded folks, share ideas, and build interesting projects together. Bring your laptop, your energy, and let's hack away for a cause. Can't wait to see you there!

Our theme this month is Getting Outdoors. We will be exploring tools that encourage getting outside or that you may have found useful over summer, such as something to help plan your holiday or outdoor activity, warn you about nearby traffic jams or bush fires, or even just to remind you to go out and touch grass once in a while!

If you want to start early please do! We would love to see your project working, and if you would like to give a brief talk about how it works, even better.

If you need help getting something working or taking it to the next level we will definitely have people willing to help you out.

Even if you have a project unrelated to this theme, we would still love to hear about it. We can either talk about it at the next session or build a future session around it.

Also please do join the discussion on Discord https://discord.gg/wPmp25Xnm5
