FTRE.WORLD in partnership with STX:LDN and Crypto Mondays presents...

Code is Law -V- Code & Law

Join us for a day of educational, thought-provoking, in-person presentations and debates, followed by an evening of live music and networking!

All ticket types include lunch, drinks and snacks throughout the event and limited drinks at the after-party.

From Twitter to Supreme Courts, there have been many arguments posed by crypto enthusiasts, investors, developers, and lawyers alike. The popular catchphrase ‘Code is Law’ has been adopted by Bitcoiners and developers across the crypto industry, with many lawyers, government agencies, lawmakers, and judges either totally confused at the sentiment, or understanding enough to break down the nuances of how the two worlds coincide.

Crypto lawyers disseminate information and research, dispelling or expanding on some of the uncertainty surrounding how blockchain and code can work with the law to build a more modernised, decentralised, and improved monetary network, regulatory framework, and overall legal system.

Developers argue finality, distributed ledgers, privacy, freedom, and the road to creating a fairer, more robust, and updated regulatory framework and legal system, through the use of Bitcoin, blockchain technology, and smart contracts. This is what the builders of these networks stand for, utilising software to fix and in some cases counter what is deemed as a broken system.

Never before has a live event taken place around this debate, but it will now...

CILvCAL Speakers

The Developers:

Fernando Martinho - Relayz

Michael Cohen - Stacks Open Internet Foundation

Nassim Boulsama - Safu.net/AquireFi

The Lawyers:

Brian Sanyah Mondoh - BlockchainLex

Meghan Millward - Gunner Cooke LLP

Vladimr Arytuyan - Fox Williams LLP

Partner Speakers:

On Yavin - Syndika

Vinay Gupta - Mattereum

Lavinia D.
