We are partnerting with London App Brewery once again to launch an exciting opportunity to join the our North East Code4Health Community and participate in an innovation and introduction to coding workshop. The 1 day event will be run by Dr Angela Yu, a junior Doctor who has a passion for innovation and coding. You will hear Angela's personal story, design an app and then learn how to code it!

Innovation Talk

Be inspired. Hear about medical startups that were started by heath professionals working in the NHS. Gain an overview of how apps are created from beginning to end.

Design Workshop

Get hands-on and learn to create wireframes and mockups that bring youyr ideas to life. We'll be sketching and using app tools to create a prototype of your innovations.

Coding Class

It's time to code. We'll take your personalised and beautifully designed apps and make them work on your phone. How? By coding up the functionality. Coding is listed as one of the most in-demand skills and you'll be getting a taste of what it's all about!

We'll supply refreshments, lunch and wi-fi, where possible we'd ask you to bring your own device with the ability to install applications to take part in the coding exercise.
