Coding and Robotics at KS2

This course will focus on introducing coding into KS2 and will be a mix of paper, iPad and PC based learning. Be introduced to the idea of computational thinking through the use of unplugged activities and games, receive guidance on which coding concepts each child should be aware of at this stage, and have time to develop your own resources and projects to use in the new school term. 

There will also be a range of robots and drones for you to test. This is a good opportunity for you to “try before you buy” allowing you to see the benefits and drawbacks of each technology so you can ensure you’re making a good investment for your school. Feel free to bring your own iPads/robots/drones/laptop if you want help on anything in particular, but everything is provided for the session.
